Friends

The mission of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center is to protect, conserve and maintain the objects of our cultural heritage and educate arts professionals and the public to the importance of conservation in maintaining our cultural legacy. As a nonprofit organization, WACC relies on patrons and donors for a portion of its support, and with that in mind, Friends of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center was formed to allow individuals to join WACC in sustaining its mission, while also providing special access to the lab, its staff and its services. The Friends have become an integral part of the WACC community, sharing a common love of art and its preservation, and working together to spread the word about how WACC provides a future for the treasures of the past.

Benefits of joining the Friends of the Williamstown Art Conservation Center include:

  • Invitation to special events and “behind the scenes” tours of the Center
  • Consultation and advice from WACC conservators on personal collections care
  • Subscription to Art Conservator magazine
  • Conservation workshops and museum field trips

Today’s Friends invite you to join them. For more information or to become a member, call WACC at 413-458-5741 or contact Rob Conzett via e-mail at rconzett@williamstownart.org.
